Sermons
Preaching sermons that are relevant, thought-provoking, and that express the transformative love of God has always been an important part of worship in the Presbyterian Church (USA). The pastor’s sermons seek to do those things through sermons that are anchored in the Bible; see through the lens of God’s inclusive love; and either comfort, challenge, educate, and most often explore with curiosity what it means to be a Christian in the 21st century.
Sermon series include: “Pop Culture: Jesus in Unusual Places”; “Narnia The Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe”; the “Let’s Talk About” series which shares issues that church members say they’ve wanted to hear preached about but haven’t heard a sermon on the topic before; “Trails, Mountains, and Streams: A Colorado Journey Through Lent” (finding God in “non-churchy” things).
Recent sermons may be audio recordings or videos.
